That tag is one of the best tags out there, but it will not be easy terrain to pass, much less pack an elk out in possibly high temperatures. Go scout and call western life outfitters for that drop camp, I believe it's only 1300 to use his gear and he'll pack out you animal. Good luck

We are gonna be making a few extra trips up there this summer preparing for this hunt... Mt. Cook sounds like a good setup and less of a hassle, but at 900 bucks per person my buddies wouldnt be coming with...
