Post by: blmathis12 on August 11, 2008, 04:39:40 PM: no he is not grey around the head it just his coat shinning. i shot this guy in the late after noon at 10-15 yards i called him in and shot him twice with the 300 win mag and yes he did need it lol but thats pretty much it!

Post by: blmathis12 on August 11, 2008, 11:00:40 PM: lol he weighs in around 250lbs if i remember right he was just at or a lil short of 6ft long as far as his head no clue not yet!! :rolleyes: but he was one of four bears that were in there he came in to a cottontail distress, as far as a stalk none lol he ran all the way in! shot him 10-15yds max. now im going after a blonde bear we got on camera we called today but he didnt close the distance enough for a shot but we could def. hear him!
