About 15 hours to go. I don't know if I'll make it out tomorrow, but I should be able to get out Thursday morn. I found a spot this spring that is only about a quarter mile walk. I don't know if my ankle is up to it, but I'm going to try. I think I'll walk in and blow on my fawn in distress call for a while. See what happens. Good luck everyone.

I wish but looks like thursday or so  who knows maybe I will wake up at the butt crack of dawn and be like screw it I am gonna go see if I can call in a bear  really hard to say us blondes can be flightly like that.....

after all I have my gun in my possession not at some cop shop so it changes things I can decide on a whim  and the truck of mine and my gun both just told me they want to get bloody.....who's gonna argue with them they can beat me up

Bought new hunting boots yesterday, as well as a new leather holster for a single action 6 shooter colt .45...gonna try to use that on bear a few days this season.

Good luck Drock. John and I are going up scotty road in the morning. there's a good spot about 3 miles in.  I'm not in a big hurry to fill my tag so early in the season. so i will wait for a dandy bear.
