methow wolf pack on discovery channel

A 90 minute documentary about the lookout wolf pack will air on the discovery channel at 8 pm july 7.

Have it set to record.  Will be interesting to see the views of the people on the show.  Probably pro wolf people but we will see.

I thought there was some good wolf footage, educational, connected some dots on what's going on with their wolf recovery. Well worth the watch.

The girl hooked up w/a Idaho wolf hunter who had a sign on his house that said he shoots all illegal aleans (the gray wolf). When he got out of his pickup he had an AR type of rifle. He said this is an assault rifle, you need one of these to hunt wolves. They picked a great SOB to show the world what a hunter is.

And yeah, great example of a sportsman.

I wonder whether they had a difficult time connecting with broadly representative hunters who were willing to appear in  the documentary?

It's also possible that they try to find individuals who will evoke a strong emotional response from the audience. If they did that, it degrades the quality of the message, in my opinion.
