A bull that size in Pa,   yes we have them, will go approx 800#  live weight,   approx 18 %  less field dressed.   All elk killed and brought out whole in Pa are weighed in  at a Pa Game Comm check site location,  unless quartered to get out.  A few very big bull elk willl go over 800# on the hoof.  These are Rocky Mtn elk relocated from YNP in the early 1900's.
PA? are you meaning Port Angelas?  Would that be the Olympic Tag? I know i seen some monsters near Sequim Last year and im not talking in the game farm...  That bull is a stud, i keep coming back to look at it...  :pee:
Their going down!!!

Where did Pennsylvania come into this story? Or, are you just giving us a little story about the elk there? That is a pretty cool story of the elk reintroduction back east. You guys think our odds for a good bull tag suck, try getting one of the bull tags offered back east!

He's referring to Pennsylvania elk and i'm curious as well to where somebody brought up those elk or State?  Nice bulls back east though.

My uncle knows the hunter. The bull was taken on private timber company land that is owned by the hunters family. They called the bull in from across the river. He came in with 2 cows and stopped at 24 yards and the guy made a perfect shot and he died right away. The bull was officially scored at 336 gross! It will be a top 5 bull!

It will score in the top 5 of all time when it is officially scored after the drying period. For Washington Typical Rosies.

Top five Cascade Rosie you mean, correct? In NW Big Game, not P&Y correct? Last I knew, P&Y had issue with the bulls between Pac Crest and I-5, unless something has changed. It's a great bull,  no doubt about it, just may not be a P&Y bull.
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.
