My wife killed her first elk tonight!!!
« on: October 06, 2012, 11:44:54 PM »
My wife's been hunting elk with a bow for 6 years with no luck.  I talked her into going muzzie with me this year for deer and elk.  This evening we spotted a nice 4 point buck and started to stalk it when we spotted 2 spike elk on the hill in between the buck and us.  Plans changed and we went after the elk instead.  She put one through the neck and dropped it where it stood.  I'm so damn proud of her!!! First my muzzie buck this week and now her spike, WHAT A GREAT WEEK!!!  Sorry about the bad picture I would have thought the Iphone worked better in the dark...

Now that she has the kill, she will be eager for more.  Congrats!
