Fir island snow goose fields .

Does anyone know when they are going to open up the quality control  goose fields ? :dunno:

I think it's open the same as the normal waterfowl season? The regs say oct13 thru jan 27. Are the signs not up yet? I know they kinda lag at getting those posted each year. Then to update the website takes even longer....

I do have the itch  :chuckle: :chuckle: Truck is loaded full of decoys . And i have the next week off :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: Walked out on the dike and the geese  were flying over way high  but it still gave me the itch . Company is always welcomed  :tup:.

I just found  out they will start opening some fields this weekend . I guess it will be duck hunting this week and goose hunting next week . Pb3 sounds good on the goose hunting might not be able to go crabbing this weekend going silver salmon fishing  and hopefully a few honkers on my Buddy's property on the nooksack river . I will have mon tues wed  of next week off also .

Brandon was trying to open the fields by opening day, but due to the wet spring and late harvest he has had to wait until the crops have been harvested and the fields re-seeded.  You should see them starting this week.  He has all the fields layed out and by the sounds of it nearly 50 QH fields will be set up.

snowgoos fields have been open in stanwood for quite awhile with plenty of geese in the area
