I can certainly stir the pot with the best of em. Admittedly I do so just to rouse the group with little ill intent, but I have never been a witness to any malicious behavior on the waterfowl forum.  If you check my stats you will see Im on here multiple times each day. Its my therapy if you will. Thank you Gents for the great info and entertainment

For those who are thanking the mods.... Thank you very much. Sometimes it gets old to try to keep the place up, and take a bit of negative commentary. We care about the site as much or more as many on here.

Thank you....for the thank you!

 :yeah:

Sometimes it is tough trying to keep the peace, especially when we all have our own opinions. It really sucks to be the "bad guy" in these situations but if we allowed all the negativity there would not be a site to enjoy.

What does this have to do with water foul?  :dunno:

The original post is to warn members that the out of line posts will not be tolerated. This board (Waterfowl) is one of the worst for us to moderate because no one wants to be civil in here.
:yeah: Us waterfowlers just hate each other I guess  :dunno: :chuckle:

I am not sure what it is, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if we eliminated this board. It would make moderating a lot easier.

I guess I didn't know that being a duck hunter also necessitated that I be an uncivil neandrethal.  I may have to work on that

Its a generalization and as many go, it doesn't fit everyone.   Out of every user group, if you could define them, the waterfowl section has had the toughest crowd even from the early days.   It fluctuates as new members come in.    I am not sure why.   It has spawned many conversations behind the scenes.

It's the conditions you guys hunt in, think about it. You hope for bad weather, rain snow, wind, slogging in mud, water, cat tails, and brush of all kinds, freezing you arss off. If I hunted in the crappy weather all the time I would be short tempered all the time after wasting the kind of cash you all spend on shells, decoys, boats, guns, hunt clubs you name it. And come home with one duck or none sometimes, yes I see the pictures some of you have more skills than others.
Yes I have duck hunted, in EA WA when I was young, they would appear when hunting ring necks on creeks and flooded fields, but not this wet side crap.

With all that said, have fun waterfowlers, and be nice to each other.  :chuckle:

I guess it makes sense that the water fowl board has issues . out of all the diifernt hunting groups i've hunted around the duck hunters have been the least conciderate and don't seem to have a problem raining shot down on you al day long and sky busting just to shoot .: :

You guys are doing a good job weeding out the BS and I've only been following this section for a year or so, but I don't see this board being any worse than the rest of the site. I guess I need to pay more attention. Keep up the good work
