Eastside bear down!!
« on: September 17, 2008, 02:12:41 PM »
Well  My brother was pretty amped up.  He killed his first bear on tuesday.  He was 5'8" from head to the base of tail and in real good shape.  Sorry the picture is so *censored*ty.

Well a little more info.  He is doing a full body mount.  The bear was shot at 289 yards, unfortunately he shot it in the head so the skull is messed up.  But all in all it is a great bear!!

your brother looks very familiar

timberstalker,
thats a nice bear. Does it happen to have a full white diamond on his chest? I followed a bear similar to that about a month and a half ago but never got a shot. Just wondering. Your bros probably is'nt the same one but that head and chest look familiar, assuming you were in E wa.

Now that's a great E. WA bear.  Can you tell us where abouts you were? Maybe some details of the hunt?  That's exciting.  Congratulations.

Very nice!  That's a great bear...especially for his first.

By the looks of the pic your brother probably could've wrestled it to the ground!  Boy's been eating his Wheaties!
