Nice bear, Rad. He's chunky.

Alwineacrcher- I think the muzzle break on that Bazooka dun smoked the hair right off the face of that bear.. That is by far the most "interesting/unusual" lookin bear i have seen this year.. Love it

Congrats to you guys

Is that Ashton Kutcher in the photo ?  (No offense intended if ya hate the guy just a pretty good resemblance)

For an ancient bear he's pretty good eating too.  We tested four different sausage recipes at 2# each to see which one we liked.  That was sort of fun for the wife and I.  We couldn't decide if we liked the American Breakfast or Italian Breakfast better.  So I made 25# of each.  Now I have two pounds of red pepper sausage and two pounds of maple/red pepper sausage I don't want to freeze.  Guess we will be eating egg and sausage sandwiches for breakfast and spaghetti for dinner the next few days.  Maybe some spicy sausage grinders for lunch!  We've got it pretty rough around here
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

You're killing me Radsav!   Sounds delicious.   I'm dying to turn my next bear into jalapeņo cheese summer sausage.  Good on ya for feeding your family well on that bear.

Some nice bears guys!

I ended up getting this small bear the last day of my spring hunt. I passed three other bears during the season and had a great time in the hills.

No first shot was through the vitals as he charged me at 40 yards. He got back up abd started moving through the brush after the first shot so I took whatever shot I had.
