Bulls in the Blues
« on: June 08, 2013, 09:06:18 PM »
You're going to have to take my word for it because I don't have any pics. We just saw elk in the Blues. Crazy talk, I know. Just saw 4 bulls. 2 raghorns, a 6x6 and a 7x7 both well on their way to being pretty solid bulls.

I have seen more sasquatch in the blues than I have elk.  I think Jackelope needs to get a better gps he had to be closer to home in the mashel unit.  I heard of one guy guiding folks to dozens of 300 plus inch bulls there every year no b.s.

Most blues bulls have at least 8 points...

I swear i saw elk there!!! My phone mostly doesn't work at my inlaws place so  I pretty much forget about it unless we head towards town. We got the big lense out to take some parade pics and discovered it won't focus. The little lense would have been pointless. They were 400+ yards away in a wheat field. I swear it. Really. 4 elk. No joke. Living breathing elk. In the Blues. Couldn't believe what I was seeing.

OK Jackalope.
I am not calling you a liar (trying to tread very lightly here).  I accept that what you thought you saw were elk (this has been covered on this site so many times before I can't believe that I am having to go over this again).  I also know that several people here have come on this thread saying that they believe you (which is understandable if they don't live near the Blues).
Here are the facts however:

Bigfoot lives in the Blues
He has eaten all of the deer, elk, grouse and turkeys
All that are left are bears, mountain lions, wolves and chipmunks

What you probably saw was BF emplacing decoys of elk in the hopes of luring an unsuspecting hunter or photographer into an ambush.  His decoys are very lifelike and effective.  I will attach a photo of BF emplacing a whitetail deer decoy for proof.  See how real the deer looks?  His elk decoys are even better.

I am glad we got this cleared up.   >:(

I noticed in your latest photo Path that you did not include the red rocket that is so dangerous to those that fall victim to the decoys.
Jackalope, I think therapy might be in order here. thank god you were not to close but you seem to be under a spell that is ultimately going to lead other unsuspecting victims to the blues. seek help asap. THE HORROR- THE HORROR.

Good catch Gaddy.  THe "Red Rocket" of which you speak is hidden in the photo I placed yesterday (obviously behind the deer's head).  I had to go through hundreds and hundreds of photos of BFs killing elk and deer, eating hunters, chasing photographers and maiming turkeys before I could find a picture in which you cannot see the Red Rocket, otherwise the photo would get censored and no one would be able to see it, therefore they wouldn't believe me.  That would lead to thousands of people putting in for elk tags in the Blues for elk that don't exist, coming over here to hunt, and getting eaten by BF.  I don't want that guilt hanging over my head.   As you can also see, this is a VERY small, immature male BF (otherwise the red rocket would still be plainly visible).
Thanks for pointing this out to the other posters.  Hopefully it's not too late to save a few of them.  I think you still have time to call WDFW and ammend your choices for quality elk if you inadvertantly put in for the Blues.  No elk.  Just BFs.

Call now.

& don't forget we now have the wolves. seen one myself last year. was on the lookout for the foot & the rocket & i'll be damned if I didn't come face to face with one. nasty, snarling ugly critters. don't know if they are working with the feet to dessimate the area or if they are playing cleanup after the carnage is done. since there are no elk left up there I really have understanding of why the hang around??
