Beaver pic...
« on: October 16, 2008, 06:46:57 PM »
I've just been messing around trying to get some of the local critters, it gets my wife into it a little when we look for something other than deer, elk and bear.  A family of beavers moved into my creek this year so I thought I would try to get some pics.  Their den is right in front of my camera ,it's dug into the muddy bank on the opposite side of the creek. I've got a ton of pics but the cheap D40 just isn't getting me very good quality.  It also has such a slow trigger that I only get the wake on most shots.  I think I'm going to have to try my hand at a "Home Brew" setup.  I just found a great spot where he's been cutting the vine maples like crazy, I'm going to set it up there and see if I can get an eager beaver in action.
