Brewster sockeye
« on: July 18, 2013, 04:59:04 AM »
Went but saw few fish caught. The fish check girl said 35 boats checked with 5 chinook and 12 sockeye. We didn't catch anything till 10:00 then caught 3 Chinook in 1 1/2 hours.

I wouldn't say it's been really good for chinook, but will say if you were there for the 5 day stretch ending a week ago, it was very good for both chinook and the reds. With these temps nearing the century mark again, it should pick back up in no time. :twocents:

:yeah: Heard the Okanogan got a dose of cold water and lots of them zipped up the river. Thermal berrier should start holding them back with these warm temps, 3 years of fishing it and the derby with 0 kings for me there.
