Dave and Sass Waldron from Western Life Outfitters have donated what amounts to a $500 credit to be used towards their outfitting business in the Blue Mountains. $500 is what they charge to pack a bull out for a non-guided client. We'll wait till after permit results are out so you guys who draw Tucannon or either of the Wenaha units can make the most of Western Life Outfitters' services. This $500 credit can be used for any of their guided hunts or drop camp hunts this fall.
We waited till after the permit results came out to run this one.

http://westernlifeoutfitters.com/

I think Dave will come onto this thread and share some more info when he gets online.

We will start this auction at 10:30 today 7/23/13 and run till 8:00pm Sunday 7/28/13. I'm going to let it run a little longer given the different circumstances.

Once the bidding is done, the winner will get funds to Boneaddict via paypal at massviemuleys@aol.com or you can pm him for a mailing address.  At that point Dave from Western Life will get hold of the winner to make arrangements.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

It's in the elk forum and there's another one somewhere else pointing folks here. I let it run longer than a lot of the other auctions because there's a limited audience for this one.
With that said...thanks for bumping it.

Josh,,   I wanted this to be able to be used in 2013 or 2014.  There maybe a surprise posted Sunday night after the close of the auction

We have been busy putting out cameras and are very pleased with what we are seeing.  Hoping to get that bull with the headache antler for the 3rd year.   My cameras or on the job 24/7 and do not exadgerate, work for batteries and fully awake.

Very hot here now, animals will be settling into those tight pockets real soon.

Good Luck to all!

"I've read this through and while I have the same feelings, thoughts and prayers as the rest of you... I think there is something missing.  I never had the honor to shake this mans hand and was only blessed to know him from this site.  I read the comments and see the words used to describe Aaron.  Words like, Protector, Great, Respected, Hero.  That he was living his dream, stood tall, encouraged and helped others, passionate, dedicated, the "best man I ever knew" and indeed we are thankful such men lived.

So....the point I'm trying to make is that while this is terribly tragic, it is MY opinion that if we focus only on this terrible loss......THAT is even more tragic.  What can we learn from Aaron's example to us?  I ask and urge each of you to focus on HOW he accomplished so many noble traits and HOW we can duplicate.  I ask and encourage each of you to think of these things and then examine ourselves and make the changes we need to make in ourselves, as an attempt to be as honorable as he was.  It is written in the Bible that "it is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of every person; the living should take this to heart.”  I think this gut check for many of us has some value.  It is good for us and a big “Reality Check”.  This is much of the point I’m trying to make.  Life is a very precious gift.   While it is true it can always be better, it also can always be worse.  I ask that you look around at your own family and friends and appreciate what blessings they really are.  Be the person who appreciates all of the gifts we’ve been given, reach out and encourage others to keep in focus the things that really matter....

And, I pray we are given the strength to do just that.....

Indeed, I am thankful such men lived.....They become the example of who I aim to be...."

It's worthy of noting that the quote above was written by Gringo31.
I simply felt it needed to be re-visited.

I cannot take credit for such an intelligent, emotional, spiritual post.
