if i get off at a decent time i was going to try and see if whole sale sports in lacey will accept some to keep in their store.

Good idea CF but The Whole Sale Sports in Lacey closed down. Maybe Cabela`s will be interested in having one. Cascade arms on Martin Way might be interested in having one if they don`t already.

Did any of the stores that won`t allow them give a reason why they wouldn`t?

I thought that whole sale sports was reopening again as sportman warehouse. guess i was wrong thanks for the heads up. Most stores and guns shops say that don't want to be political and that it would open the avenue for people to bring in all kinds of petitions. bunch of crap. i would have thought all the gun shops would have been happy to have them in there stores. ill give cabelas a call, not alot of hope ther though. i bet they would let me stand out side though

I have started a post for people to start a list of where they can go to sign the I-591: Protect Our Gun Rights petition; I have posted it as a "sticky" at the top of the Gun Rights and Hunters Alerts topic area.  If you know of locations that have petitions available for people to sign, please share that information on the following post:

PETITION ALERT: Where to Sign I-591: Protect Our Gun Rights

It is critical that the signature gathering for this petition is successful.  Please help in that effort.

What's to prevent anti's from getting petitions signed and then destroying them, effectively preventing signatures from ever being counted? :dunno:
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Wades guns in Bellevue have the petition?
Old enough to know better.
Young enough to go for it.

Yup!

I-591 campaign picks up key law enforcement endorsement

Backers of an initiative that prohibits gun confiscation without due process of law, and requires that background checks only be done in accordance with a uniform national standard today are reporting they picked up a key law enforcement endorsement, and there’s a hint of déjà vu attached to it.

WAC members warm up to I-591 effort

One day after the executive director of the anti-gun Mayors Against Illegal Guns told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that people should run away from an attack or fight with fists rather than use a gun, visitors at this weekend’s Puyallup gun show are standing their ground with ink and dollars, fighting a gun control initiative with one of their own.

If you know where people can sign I-591, let us know where those locations are at the following link.  Help connect people with the petitions.
