I hate it when this happens ;)
« on: July 24, 2013, 03:34:17 PM »
So I haven't had any time to get out and shoot until yesterday. My son and I went out to shoot in my yard where we can do 20 to 30 yards. My concern every year is how tuned is my bow still.

Well, I guess it's still pretty well tuned  :IBCOOL:

OH, the part I hate is losing $13 bucks. I pulled out the good arrow and my son said why did you do that. I said because I don't want to lose $26 bucks :) He doesn't buy his own arrows yet.

I told a guy in an archery shop that I had that happen, but the first arrow wasen't in the middle of the bullseye, and asked if it was still called a "Robinhood."  He told me that it wasn't called that unless it was in the middle.  I think it should be.  And then just adjust the site so where you (or I) are repeatedly hitting is in the middle.

All the arrows were in the same diamond on the target if that counts. Can't remember if it was in the center of the diamond. I thought is was pretty amazing  how much in penetrated the other arrow when it was more than half way in the target already

These FMJ's really hit hard :)

Love my FMJ's too. But hate when they knock eachother so I don't shoot for groups anymore.

That's why I aim for a different point on the block for each arrow. :)

I don't mind it. I think it's like hitting a hole in one in golf. Costs you lots of money to buy a round of drinks but your still glad you did it. Nice shootin.
