two days prior I jumped this guy as I passed through some vine maples trying to get over to a main game trail that ran to a meadow, so after spending the morning trying to catch an elk cutting through our pasture I hiked into the thick stuff, crept to where I saw him before and there he was 15 yards of thickness... acted like I didn't see him moved a couple more feet until I got a 6in window and got em. On the way out I saw someone's marijuana plants so maybe the deer was stoned and that's how I was able to get so close.
