any Eastside bulls bugeling?
« on: September 07, 2013, 11:28:02 PM »
Just Got Home From Three Days On The LT Murray, And Didn't Hear A Single Bugle.  Did See A Nice 7X7, And Some Cows, But I Wasn't Hunting.

Just Curios If Anyone Is Hearing Any Yet?

Yes. I was up in 335 yesterday and laid out a bugle. Got one to answer back and actually for a long time. I got closer and he was rolling in a wallow. So I kept bugling and he would answer every time. Once I got closer he started rubbing trees and trashing stuff and growling and chuckling. He was a nice 6x6 satellite bull. If only I had a tag.

Plenty of talk up Manashtashe. Probably a lot of hunters but there were definitely some real one coming from the closed burn area.

Saw a couple of bulls fighting and a big herd bull with dozens of cows yesterday.  Several bugles in the morning, but nothing in the evening.
