New to Site
« on: October 27, 2008, 10:08:29 AM »
I've been lurking for the past month or so, thought it was time I finally introduced myself.  I grew up in Poulsbo and currently live in Woodinville.  My dad, brother and I hunted some growing up (Olympic and Coyle), with no success.  Well, I've decided to get back into it.  I just enjoy spending time in the woods and it's a great excuse for dad and I to get out together.

I'm searching for that first buck and have been reading a lot of good advice from some of you seasoned veterans.  I've always wondered why we've seen so much sign, but so few deer.  Now I'm starting to get a better idea!

I was travelling at opening of modern rifle, and my dad is out of the country until this weekend, so were going to try our luck at the late Muzzle Loader season (633 Mason).  Reading all of your stories and seeing the photos has got me all pumped up... Nov. 19th seems like a long ways away.

Thanks for all the info I've (secretly) received and with any luck, I'll be able to post my own story and picture.

Welcome aboard, looking forward to hearing your favorite hunting method experiences.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.
