Specks on the move
« on: September 23, 2013, 12:07:22 PM »
So I have been working south of Southcenter Mall for the last couple months. There have been bunches of Canada Geese all summer in the grass fields around my job site. Today when I arrived there was a flock of about a dozen Specks in one of the fields. As I began work I noticed numerous big flocks flying high and headed south, laughing as they passed. Another 5 or 6 smaller flocks circled around and landed in the fields nearby. It was pretty cool to see. There were quite a few birds in the air to start the day. Definitely a sign the season is changing. Can't wait for the opener!
Fish hard, hunt harder!
