Silvers around Centralia/Chehalis...
« on: October 08, 2013, 09:15:32 PM »
Hi guys/gals asking for a little help here as I don't fish in rivers much but my new next door neighbor wants to take his 10yr old son fishing and was looking to pick up some silvers. No combat fishing or anything like that but he does have a small 14ft open bow boat. He asked me and I have no idea so I am not asking for any honey holes or anything like that just a good general direction to point him and his son.

  Thanks

I don`t know of any where in Centralia but I think the lower part of the Chehalis river should have some in it. He can run a 14er on the river by Montesano. The boat launch on the Satsop was full both Sat and Sun when I went by on 12.

Is it a jet or a prop?

Not sure but I think it is a prop if I seen it right.

with a prop i'd probably stay around the montesano area.  every time i've driven over the river this season it's been muddy though(i heard there was a big slide up around pe ell).  if you want to bank fish, silvers run all the way up the chehalis so you can catch fish just about anywhere there's access, provided there's some fish in there.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Water still high at Alexander, only a few feet of bank, fished for about an hour, nothing....
