Nice mount!! I shot a 3-legger in Randle back in 2002 with my bow. Had no idea it had 3 legs. It was feeding in a berry patch and getting around just fine. Wish I would have done a rug, would have made a great conversation piece. Locals were snaring them in the area, I was told.

Not sure about the Randle area, but I know WDFW is snaring them on state land in Thurston County.

That is impressive. He looks like a rough old feller. Love the mount.

That's pretty cool!  I saw a deer a hunter took that had three legs.  One of his front legs was all gone all the way to the shoulder and all healed over.

what was way cool is that my wife was with me when I shot it.....actually i've shot 4 bears and she has been with me on every one...shot this guy labor day weekend and had been hunting the area on and off since the August opener.  had been sitting there this particular day since about 1 pm.  wife was reading her book when about 6:oo I see something black moving through the timber...I tell her "bear" and get set up...about that time she says it looks like its limping and as soon as it pokes it nose out from behind the trees I shoot---down he goes....it lets out a big loud moan and its over.  I have cell service so I call my cousin and tell him to bring the haywire.  30 minutes  later he shows up and heads down the hill to hook up to the bear.  he gets on the radio and I start driving down the road....eventually he tells me to stop and we start rolling up the wire.   when I get back to him he says " do you realize what you shot"  I tell him yes I shot a nice black bear....he says no you shot a 3 legged bear...
