I've been using similar camo paint techniques for a while. The difference in my method was I just used one fern or leafy branch at a time, and moved it around the rifle, applying a short blast of paint with the leaves for a template. Here is a scout rifle I built a while back:

Why am I laughing you ask? I'm rolling around laughing right now. My dad and grandpa are who I'm laughing at. I'm going to need some photos to show you how it was done years ago.

This is cool. Something is getting camo'd around here in the near future.  :D

I've painted a bunch of treestands that way.  It is a fun way to add camo to your stuff.

Ill have to post a pic of my benelli. I hand painted a bunch of details. Durability is nowhere near a dipped gun though
