I rolled 2 this weekend.  One from about 75 yards and his buddy got to 400 yards before the .243 ballistic tip caught up with him...   ;)  No pictures  :(

hope that put a good dent in the population.  the deer need all the help they can get with the harsh winter.

Kind of what I was thinking.  This thing is pretty much wrapping up.  Great shooting everyone.  Big10's crew really put the hurt to them this winter.  What was the biggest Dawg you guys put down do you think?

The bigest one we shot and actually weighed was 37 lbs which was one of BullElk's . There was a couple more that was within a pound or so less, all males.

speaking of dogs, I was trying to set up for a fox the other night. While I was trying to hand my pack over a fence to a buddy and telling him to load his gun up in case the fox came out, I looked over my shoulder and the fox was trotting up looking at me 25 feet away.  :bash: 2 running shots missing over his back and he was gone.  His pelt was still transitioning well and I probably would have had him mounted.   :'(
