Not surprising. Similar thing happened with the shooting in Clackamas Mall and it didn't make national news. The media are so hell bent on taking away our guns that they conveniently leave out portions of the true story. Thanks for sharing and spreading the word.

No problem, it's sad how everyone heard about Paul walkers death right away but allot of people have still not heard about this shooting. It's sickening!

If I remember correctly, the shooter offed himself after spotting the approach of an armed citizen.

According to several different articles the shooter took his own life when he realized that the school resource officer was closing in on him. (Though whether he took his own life because of that, or because he missed his chance to kill the librarian as he fled we will never know for certain.)

A quick search was able to turn up stories fro m a bunch of sources, so I am not sure why people think there is a conspiracy to cover it up or over-look it.

There were more, but if you want them you'll have to do your own search.

We haven't heard much about this shooting because it doesn't fit the liberal media's criteria.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

The resource officer did not shoot the suspect but its onus like the suspect killed himself when the officer announced himself

It is quite possible, even likely, that he shot himself because of the presence of the resource officer. At least one of the stories I read though indicated that the shooter saw the librarian fleeing, took a shot at him and missed. So it is also possible that he planned to kill himself after shooting the librarian, and just shot himself when he did, because he realized that he missed his only chance at his target. The reports stating that they know the reason the shooter took his own life are just conjecture though, unless they discovered a way to speak with the dead.  :twocents:

I agree, I'm curious as to what kind of shells he was using? For two people to have been shot and survive from a shotgun, I wonder if he was using bird shot?
