New guy here
« on: December 16, 2013, 06:57:20 PM »
Figured I'd introduce myself here since archery is where I'll likely hang out the most. My 1st post was in lost and found. Hoping to not to start any more new threads there...

I've been bow hunting for 22 years now, and I shoot modern compound (Bowtech Invasion) and trad (Chekmate Hunter II take down recurve). Not opposed to picking up my guns, just prefer to get up close and personal. I'm from the south east where whitetail, turkey, and hogs make up the majority of our big game hunting. Then spent 7 years in NM chasing mule deer, new flavors of turkey, and a bunch more pigs. I tried and tried to get elk, antelope, and oryx tags, but was never so lucky. They're pretty stingy with resident tags; but that's another story. Been here in WA since winter '08, and just now really getting to spend time in the woods again. That work and life stuff keeps getting in the way of fun!! Can't wait to bag my 1st blacktail, elk, and bear! When not hunting you can typically find me kayak fishing in the Pacific, Puget Sound, or any other body of water for that matter. I look fwd to meeting some of you, and if you ever feel like trading a hunting adventure for a kayak fishing adventure just hit me up! I currently own 6 kayaks and all the associated gear to get you out there!

Cheers!
-Dick

I think I'll be just fine  ;) My only problem is I'm a perpetual smart a$$ and sarcasm doesn't always come through in text, so if I offend anyone...well...
