They stopped selling modern firearms Sept. 31st.  They still sell black powder guns and air guns.  Along with everything else outside guns.

Wow you have no idea. Get a copy of the Skagit Valley Hearald for Sunday December 22, 2013.

READY TO RELOAD by Russell Hixson.

It is all laid out based on information the paper got involving a lawsuit between the brothers. This could be a movie.

Skagit Arms........they need a lesson in customer service too.I won't try to do buisness with them again.I had hot cash burning a hole in my pocket, had the SKU# from Savage, wanted them to order for me and flat out told the guy I could care less about timeframe, take the money and it gets here when it gets here.Wouldn't do it,nor did they have any other options.I gave them 3 weeks to figure something out, they were supposed to be looking into it and would call back.I never got a call so I went elsewhere, Federal Police Supply, Great guy folks, retired lawman with an FFL,Great customer service.I gave him the SKU# and within 3 hours he had located the rifle I wanted in three different distributors he uses.2 weeks later I picked it up and the price was considerably less than ,Dave's in Lynden, Yeager's in Bellingham,Skagit arms(They had a 6.5 creedmoor in the same rifle on the shelf) and Kessellrings wouldn't even consider trying to get me a Savage model 10 predator hunter max 1, the person on the end of the phoneline told me that "Savage is junk,we don't deal in junk" I don't consider an out of the box  factory fully bedded, adjustable trigger  rifle that I shot a 3/8 group with  factory fioochi ammo at 200 yards junk.

Considering dealing with the FFL guy singularly is a whole lot different than dealing with a store with 3-4 counter employees and 15-20 customers in the store is not a very good comparison though.

They cant even do gunsmith work they wouldn't even mount my scope.Real weird when asked about what happened but something went down.So I went to holiday sports and they did it and the guy bore sighted my scope go to the range and it wasn't even hitting paper had to do it again at the range.

Well that's explains it, I was in there last fall and their attitude sucked. We asked if they had a Benelli M4 H20. They looked at us like we were idiots, said they couldn't get them and basically we couldn't either. I mentioned we had one and basically got called a liar. We invited him to come out to the truck and look at it. That ended the conversation. We looked around a bit but the mood was shot, so we left. Haven't been back but for years I had worked with allot of guys on the East side that were from the west side. They all said it was a great place and if I was ever over there to drop in.

Service was never their strong suit, at least last half dozen years. And you need good bookkeeping when dealing with firearm sales....much of their inventory has ended up over here on the east side of the state and finding good homes!

They lost their FFL.  They were given time to clear up the discrepancies in their paperwork, and it didn't get done, so Bye Bye FFL.  Back when a buddy and I used to go over to the Registered Skeet Shoots that was THE place to go for shotgunners.  Sad, but I guess they did it to themselves.  Same thing happened to The General Store in Spokane.  All of a sudden, no guns!   :dunno:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
