Dbl on beaver today
« on: February 20, 2014, 06:10:48 PM »
Due to work and the weather I haven't been able to get out and trap much the past 4 weeks.  Finally got 6 sets out on Sunday and collected these two today.  The small one was caught in a 220 Belisle on a crossover.  The large one was the same beaver giving me the evil eye a few weeks ago when he snuck up on me while I was knocking a hole in his dam.  :)

You can see the lodge in the back

Nice beaver trail in the snow!

This is the same beaver giving me the stink eye a few weeks ago when I was knocking a hole in the dam.   :chuckle:

220 Belisle, killed him stone dead.

From the looks of that ice I thought you might have been transfered to upstate New York but your  location still says VA. :chuckle:
