Cleaning stainless steel guns

Went down to Wades yesterday and shot my new stainless 686 .357 for the first time. Put about 100 rounds through it. The trigger is like butter, by the way. Anyway, gave it a good, thorough cleaning with hoppes #9, but I can't quite get it perfect again. There is a light stain on the front of the cylinder and some stains on the outside of the cylinder about a quarter inch from the front. I got most of it, but not 100%.

Any tips for getting stainless steel perfect again?

 KleenBore lead away. It's a treated cloth. I cut a piece off and clean stainless with it. Works great.

  Mothers mag wheel cleaner and polish, on a rag and a little rubbing, takes the black off slick asa whistle. I use it before the regular cleaning.

These things work great! By the time you're done, the gun looks unfired.

Here is my 686 with a round count of around 1k.  Cleaned with nothing but hoppes and Kleenbore  cloth.

   wow, that is a fine looking gun.  how does it compare to a python?  I want a python but might have to lower me standards.  is it affordable?   thanks   mike w

I've had 3, 686's and 1 Python and I would rate them pretty much equal to each other.
