First Raccoon Hunt
« on: March 14, 2014, 10:21:25 AM »
Went out last night with a good friend on a night hunt. We had a great time and saw several raccoon's, but were only able to connect with a few.  Boy they can move when they need to :chuckle:  When I got back home had a added bonus to the night.  I finally caught the cat that has been defacting on my deck and driveway.

The jet black coat on that cat should go nicely with the coloration of a coon skin hat. custom
Just tend your own and live.

Normally I just hang them from my Bike holder in my Garage.  This time I am gonna try the air method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwJO5plZtSQ

Good job seth..

btw your flower boxes need weeding  :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

:nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:  I prefer the organic mix, because when I sip my Soy Latte and donate my money to Peta, my garden has a relaxing effect.  In fact I am headed out right now to get close to more raccoons :chuckle:

Well after skinning 7 of these buggers, I have reached the amateur level.  Either the tail snaps at the end, or the lower jaw fur stays on :bash: :bash:  This is my best one where the whole face stayed intact.  Tried the Air skinning technique and it really sped things up.
