So I was given a bear rug from a family member. But it smells pretty bad and is kinds dirty from sitting in storage for years. So im wondering what is the best and safest way to clean one?

Can you post some pic's.
What does it smell like? Dust? Mold? Smoke?
How old is the Rug?

Its probably 20 plus years old. It was in a deceased family members storage and there were some dead mice in it. Not really sure what it smells like

Storage and garages are so bad for mounts, rugs, or any tanned hide. Especially if it's not in a climate controlled environment.
