Well how's the sale going for everyone? Up and down for us. $9.75 average for our rats. $18 for mink. Only 1 out of 5 otters sold so far. $62 for the one. Just beaver and cats for us tomorrow.

I sold one otter for $48 but my other one was a I* and it was bought back.
Sold one coon for $10 and my other 4 were bought back.
I got a feeling none of my beaver are going to get sold tomorrow with the way things went today.
I guess I cant buy a new corvette now.  :bash:  :chuckle:

It is pretty discouraging. Appears to be low clearances across the board.
I think we have been hit with the perfect storm of bad news, political problems and a warm winter in our markets.
I have heard the mink ranchers had ramped up production to as much as 80 million mink worldwide and with the prices they are getting it will force a lot into bankruptcy. That in turn will put all their breeding stock on the market next year. That may put 100 million mink on the market. Add to that all the unsold goods looking for a home and  next year doesn't look to good.

On the bright side muskrats seem to have retained their value. Who can figure that out?
