Thinking about hunting 513 for early muzzy season.  My son and I are trying muzzy instead of modern.  not looking for your honey holes just general info, weather, bull to cow ratio, pitfall's in the wilderness area, parking/vandalism of your parked rigs.  Not sure if should post his here or in the elk hunting forum.  PM is OK and Thanks for any help

The wilderness gets hit hard by guys with horses.  Outside of the wilderness there are not a lot of elk.  One of the best spots to see some elk out side of the wilderness is downtown packwood.  If you want to hunt it I would scout it and stay away from the wilderness area.
