I cant believe it. Do I contact WDFW immediately and try to buy the tag before they re-draw? How did you previous winners get your tag?

Thanks,
CChunt

My step mom got drawn for Mt Spokane North and the whole family got drawn for the Palouse late deer hunt. Plan on making a family trip out of both. Hope to be helping pack out a moose. Congrats on your draw!

When I drew goat in 2000 I raced to Olympia the minute the card came in the mail and bought my tag. a couple weeks later they called and talked to my wife telling her if I didn't buy my tag it would be given to an alternate. I called them and they said I didn't have it, I informed them I was holding it and read them the tag #. They still wanted to sell me another tag. They had no record of moose, sheep or goat tags sold from their office. When I told them, "So you have no idea how many OIL tags you have given out so far this year". It was pretty quiet on the other end of the phone.

What a story.  That was 14 years ago, so we have to assume the management is better these days.....right?....

A buddy's 80 year old dad drew this tag as well.
