Ilwaco charter 7/25
« on: July 27, 2014, 08:28:42 PM »
Went out on the Sea Quest Friday and had a great time. Was the 6 man boat with 5 of us and the captain board. Great weather and easy bar crossing. Started catching fish as soon as the rods hit the water. I boated a nice king and silver pretty quickly. We all had 1 silver so we went looking for more kings and got two more nice ones. Lost 3 more kings and let a smaller one go. Filled out the other limits with nice silvers.

Great trip and you could tell the Captain/owner enjoyed what he did which makes it a lot more enjoyable. This was my first salmon charter and first time for each species.
Planning on going again.

Well done. Let me know next time!

Right on, I was there Saturday and it took a while but we limited the boat with some pretty good fish.
