Ironic Funny Story

Season ended without seeing a Elk in the last several days.  Today, for the heck of it decided to go for a drive, saw Elk, some on some property I had hunted previously, the rest down the road.  What a day, elk everywhere I went, too funny, they were ghost a day ago and out in force now that the season is over...  :bash:

fanatic and i had similar issues...they were everywhere 2 weeks before the season and then nowhere to be found once the season opened.

I think you might be one to something there, the Fish and Game might secretly coat the tags with something that repels the animals or something in the ink....  OK Cabelas, I'll market a scent lock bags for these tags and you sell them, we'll all get rich, just like the other scent lock stuff manufacturers.......  Of course NRA4Life it is your comment, so 10% goes your way.. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Come on guys! The deer and elk have a tunnel system built. Anti's pass out the Regs. and the game have a drawing, The losers are then required to leave the tunnels during the seasons and run a required distance. If the make it then they are allowed back in the tunnel and the next loser is up! It is a random drawing that is why you see some Biggn's out sometimes :Tupi:
Take a kid hunting or fishing, Pass it on, it's not yours to keep!

I know what you mean. I had 1964 pictures on my trail cam between july 10th and sept. 7th and then 8 pictures during the season. I couldn't believe it.
