late bow in 124 ?
« on: November 19, 2014, 06:45:13 PM »
This g.m.u. will be a first for me this year, ive established a couple tree stands,or as I like to call them this time of year popscicle stands,I was wondering if anybody is familiar with that area for late bow season,Im 15 miles east of the Chewelah casino wondering if im going to get snowed out of there. Also what is the feeling on calling these huge deer ive been seeing,Im hopeing to see some bucks in there but this time of year its all about stuffing the smoker so one of those 7ft. does out there will be just fine, anyways any inside info is very much appreciated.good hunting out there and don't forgewt your mittens !!! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

This is my first time hunting this gmu also! I bought property a few months ago though and have had cams up. I think the bigger bucks are going to be rutting harder next week. I havent seen much rut activity so far. Find the does and I think youl be golden. There are definatly lots of deer in that area. Im holding out for hopes of a big buck to put on my wall till the last 2 days since we can shoot either sex. And I dont think you should be getting snowed out at least the first week. We aren't going to be getting that much snow. If you have lots of bucks in the area try rattling maybe? Im going to attempt it for the first time. Good luck to you! Im real excited!
