Christmas bucks
« on: December 25, 2008, 04:05:20 PM »
Got up this morning, and opened Christmas presents.  Gayle got me a real nice wood splitter that the Burns High School metals shop built.  Its really heavy duty and works great.  I got  Gayle one of those real nice package of 3 wool socks to keep her feet nice and warm.   Then I plowed the snow off the driveway while Gayle was feeding the horses and taking the dogs for their walk.  After we had breakfast we decided to go down to the refuge for awhile to see if we could find Babe and get a few pictures.  We found Babe and a few of his buddies.

Thanks for all the kind words ;)

This is a picture of the buck we call Babe.  We've gotten pictures of him
for the last 5 years, he's about 11 years old now.  His horns are going down
hill now, his best set of antlers were in 2005.
