Looks like a good hunt. Hopefully they hang around until the weekend. Last weekend was nuts  :yike:

All the birds I've been hunting are north of moses but lots around o'sullivan and further south, going to give a good duck/goose combo a try tomorrow and should be plenty this weekend!

Looks like it was a good shoot. I don't plan on heading over between now and the end of the season just wondering if the potholes are still frozen.
I hope when I die my wife doesn't sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

Last week I was shooting yotes off the ice but I think the outer dune edge is still the accessible max, and I think launches may be locked up not to sure, I'd give mardon a call they would know

State Park launch is open, Mardon you can launch from the beach. Blythe the cement launch was iced in as of Sunday but you can launch on the North side of the parking lot. Perch Point you can launch, Pretty sure the power line launch on Crab creek is also open. Not a whole lot of spots open to hunt if you go get their early like midnight and be prepared to get crowded. Lind Coulee was producing birds last weekend, again get their early. Late afternoon flights of ducks and geese coming off the refuge. Find the magic corn field and you'll have a great hunt. When I say late I mean the last 10 minutes of legal shooting time. Dang birds are on a clock.

Set up more so for geese today but should have set up more for ducks, still a decent shoot!

About two dozen ducks, a mix of mallards, pins, and gadwalls.
