Bear at 94yds
« on: June 07, 2015, 06:16:34 PM »
Me and a buddy went scouting this weekend.
Saw a lot, a few spike elk, some young white tile bucks, yotes, a fawn that couldn't have been to old. Also found a elk shed, but the best part was this blondish/brown colored bear @ 94 yards. She didn't even know we were there. Watched her for awhile. Black face and legs. Anyone got any idea what the old bucket in the tree was used for?

Or a bear bait.

That wouldn't keep any food from any self respecting bear.

That's what I was thinking. Looks like it's set up to give a broadside shot.

. There were holes in the bottom so it could have been for baiting, but a bear could walk that log much better then me.

I went through my other pictures of the bear and never seen it, it must just be the way her shoulder is in that pic.
