I use the Moultrie 8mp Trail cameras, Cabellas had them on sale for 90 dollars a ways back, think there going for 135.00 now, I have 6 of them !
there the best for the money in my opinion and easy to operate.

The elk are still there, just don't have the advantage of the rut. IMO its a little harder to locate bulls.

Once you find them, stay on them, they wont move much unless buggered bad.

I drew one of the bull tags this year. Looking to improve on my one and only bull, a spike. This tag sure took a long time to draw. Good luck 400gross on your quality tag! GameHunter, hope your Dad nails a dandy!!

I seem to be able to figure this stuff out. My goal is to have 5 really good spots to hit before all the regular season hunters push everything around. Good luck to everyone.

Hot, extra dry summer will cripple scouting efforts. Already closing roads. Access will be a major issue. :bash:
