Grouse Bag Limit
« on: October 01, 2015, 01:14:17 PM »
*I just noticed this*

I'm not sure if it has been brought up here yet but......the bag limit for grouse is 4, not to include more than 3 of each species.  So be careful not to shoot 4 blues, 4 ruffs or 4 spruce in the same day.

Take it for what it's worth but if you have 3 ruffs in the bag and a grouse kicks up, try and make sure it's not another ruff  :dunno:, I don't want anyone to get a ticket.

Good info for those who didn't catch it in the regs

...and those who missed the threads on Hunt-Wa about it  :chuckle:  You just had a kid so we'll forgive you I guess

And those ruffs read the reg's , i saw more ruffs this year then in years past, we got three one evening real quick and decided to look higher for a blue, passed about 20 ruffs on our way up just standing and looking at us.. :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I was just giving you a hard time and you're more right than I am...there are probably plenty of people who are just now noticing it or haven't yet  :yike:

Most of those people probably don't kill a bag limit too often though.
