Lost Garmin Rino 650 - Smoothing Iron Ranch
« on: October 21, 2015, 12:33:46 PM »
hi,

my wife lost a brand new (~24 hours old) Garmin Rino 650 on the ridge above the ranch.  she believes it dropped off (the battery pack stayed attached so it is only the front/ main unit) in the ag fields near the top.

thought i would try here.

thanks.

edited because it was a 650 not 600.  I didn't own it long enough to get familiar  :o

It will show on a metal detector.  The battery on the 650 has the carabiner attachment which stayed connected to my wife.  This is the screen/ button part of the unit (the valuable part).

she lost it in the top field from Blacks/ Smoothing Iron Ranch - across the road from the parking signage, etc... and up the farm road to the right to sit on a draw of opening modern deer.  it is in that field somewhere - or was ;-)

thanks,
john

You talking lick creek?
If so, The RMEF has a camp out/clean up/mend fence party the 1st or 2nd weekend in May every year. I usually run into them.
