Great deer

But on a personal note I think you should be banned for your first post being a deer 99% of us only can dream about harvesting.. :chuckle:

That's the way to introduce yourself!  Congratulations!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

If possible can you let us know what it takes out at? How wide did end up being?

The gross score is 185 6/8 and ended up netting 180 even.  The outside spread was just short of 31" and the inside spread was 26 1/2".

I'm glad the shooter posted the deer, I was pretty sure the thread woulda been 20+ pages of "just post pics it's not a secret". For all those saying to just post pics without permission how would you feel if someone did that to you? Awesome buck rlsay.

That is a monster. Didn't know deer like that existed in our state unless it was Bone that was conjuring them out of thin air for a photo op.

Great buck

Saw one almost identical to this one up around redtop but he would be over 25yrs old now.. :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I remembered seeing this thread the other day.   When got to work after training all week I saw one of my Co workers from the area.   He showed me the buck from his phone.   Congrats on the deer.  My coworker says he knows you to.

Not only does this guy kill big Bucks but he also knows how to Mooch up some BIG ASS NOOKS.  His top 2 that I've netted for him are 50 and 61lbs. *censored* dies around him whether he's in the Mountains or on the Salt.                Nice Bambi, it's a good thing you thru the rifle in the bag while you were playing the front nine at Suncadia.  :hunter:
