Here are the buck you missed with your truck. I could feed them apples out of my hand.. The nimrod part time neighbors shot three of them....or they just held an apple out and slit their throats with a knife. We don't shoot neighborhood pets. Four other neighbors enjoyed feeding them also.
[/quote]  Geeze-cant believe they shot 3 of them.  We always enjoy driving past your place-that was a nice little bunch of bucks you had hanging out there with the turkeys.  We don't shoot any of them right around our house either, just doesn't seem sporting and I think my wife has names for most of them anyway. (we have one doe hanging around that has very obvious scars on her hindquarters from a lion or bear encounter-see her quite often and wish we new the whole story)

I like the buck and fawn photo! That's pretty cool! I couldn't hunt a deer out of my front yard either. I was hunting down above Carson one time and the biggest blacktail... er benchleg . It was a blacktail buck, was standing in a guy's yard eating his apple tree and he was standing on the porch taking pic's of it. I think he enjoyed watching that buck and I'm sure it didn't last too long. it was only 40ft off the road and some $%@*& probably shot it on the day he was at work. I don't like hand fed meat anyway. It taste's like someone didn't wash their hands...

The Mulie that was poached a year or more ago during the late whitetail hunt in the Selkirk was a freaking beast.  But clearly it was the last single mule deer in the area and there is zero need to hunt them in that unit anymore, there are none there at all, gone for good.

Mostly narrow, heavy, non-typical characteristics on the older bucks.

Yeah that's a cool buck Bone! I like the one's with trash on them! I'll show you guy's a pic of my cousin's buck from this year. It was a nice palmated mulie buck from down here in the pine tree's. I was gonna ask about the area from Molybdenite mt and those high area's too. I know of an older gentleman who shot some nice one's up there but it was 20yrs ago.

Wolves have mostly decimated what was left of moly and monu.   Lack of logging started it, then wolves finished it.   Wolves are devastating to mule deer.  If you have ever been to Yellowstone, you'd be like hmmmmm, where are the deer.

Huckelberry wolves will dine well for a year or two.

So true..I heard some wolves last night across the lake on the reservation side. Right down on the lake shore. Also heard them up off the Addy/Gifford Rd. Anderson road area in Nov. Cougar are a big problem in my area. They are after my tame deer almost every day. Tracks confirm why they are so skittish.
Here are a couple bucks from this year. The gal had a special permit and took a weird 3x2 the last day. Big guys seemed to have disappeared after the first rut. Saw one big guy where we couldn't hunt . Also saw about 200 mulie does and small bucks. We got the big buck Oct. 18th. They were rutting pretty good then.

Sorry I spelled your name wrong Jonathan. Not like it's on here to reference huh I enjoy that you guy's are willing to share pic's of these bucks! After having a baby this upcoming spring and just buying a new house it'll be a while before I can go hunt away from home now so like I told Bone before I enjoy seeing the buck's that other people were able to tag or take photo's of. It keep's my enthusiasm up after thing's like the chopper issue I had this last weekend and the fact that around here anyone with a 4x4 can blaze through someone's field and run the animal's all over hell and I can't ever get time to go on a decent hunting experience anymore. I was so mad the other day I couldn't think straight and I had to sit and think about why hunting was a lot more enjoyable before and it's because I can't seem to get away from all the BS that's ruined my hunt's the last 3-4 yrs. Next year I think my wife and I are gonna try some hunting away from home again. Even if it's for one weekend. Did I mention her family own's a cabin in the NF that's tucked down into the Wenaha? Well we haven't been able to go for a few yrs now and we were stressing out all summer that the fire was going to burn it too. Well luckily the fire crews decided to setup camp there and kept a watchful eye on all the cabin's. Now if I could only draw a branch antler tag! Thank's for hearing my rant guy's!
