Attention Whatcom county and surrounding area hunters! DNR is developing a plan for outdoor recreation in our area. This plan has the potential to seriously impact our hunting access on DNR managed properties as well as adjacent privately managed parcels. DNR is hosting an open house tomorrow (Jan 19th) from 7 to 9pm at the Port of Bellingham Cruise Terminal. It would be great to have a strong hunter presence there to let them know that they need to consider us in their plan, and not just the mountain bikers and ORV folks. Here is a link to the info.
