Limbsaver Airtech vs Classic
« on: May 15, 2016, 08:31:05 PM »
Hi folks,

I need to order a new recoil pad for my Winchester M70 7mm. I am pretty set on orering a limbsaver pad but want to know of follow experience with both pads, good and bad. My rifle is the classic stainless with synthetic stock. I have never had a problem with recoil it's just time to replace the stock pad.

Thanks!

I run a limbsaver on my 300wm and love it! Can't comment on the other
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

I haven't noticed much of a difference.  Other than the Airtech holds a little more dirt.  Not sure you can go wrong either way.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I recently compared the two when adding a new recoil pad, and I did not like the Air Tech as much. I felt that it was much softer, which I did not mind, however there was not much rigidity, and it felt like it moved too much against my shoulder. I was in the position where I could try them both before deciding, so I was fortunate with that. I chose the standard slip-on pad because it held better to my shoulder and did not seem to move as much.
