Yes, some really nice bucks, but at the same time, it amazes me how many mature forked horn bucks there are out there. These photos give credence to the philosophy that if you want a trophy rack, you need to hunt areas with proven genetics to grow big racks. I'm pretty sure I would pop off a shot at any of the bucks listed above and end my season happy; but at the same time, if I wanted a 4X4, I might never see one if I'm hunting where these last few bucks above lived and grew to maturity as a gnarly old two points. They don't look regressive, they seem to be offspring of parental bucks that didn't need big racks to be successful in mating.
