the camera takes decent pictures but for 20 more dollars you can set the time/date in the field and reformat the sd card.  the way it works is you put the sd card in the camera and it copies a date/time setting file on the sd, then you remove it and set the correct time date on your computer. no way to do it in the field unless you carry a tablet along i think. I like to have the correct time date stamp on pics for scouting purposes.

Same as above ^

I've got one. Figured I'd try it out for the 30$ it was. Took some decent pics. Night ones too. There is a way to do the date and time, but it looked like a pain.

Definitely worth it to get the next upgrade from the easy cam. Primos truth 35's have worked pretty well for a cheaper camera for me.

Also this one is probably my best cheap cam

I have 3 Easy Cams, stumbled on them on Ebay for $25 shipped, now wishing I had stock up as they are back in the $45-50range+ shipping.  As mentioned the setup is a bit of a pita requiring a laptop.  Also to get to the on/off switch or SD card you have to open the battery compartment.  One of mine loves to eject batteries when you do that.  Good response time and range on it, I was seeing triggers from 20yrds+ away, decent pictures as well, but no options for burst, video, or anything.

That said I have been happy with the response time and pictures.  I also have a pair of Stealth P14's, THOSE are POS.  sure much nicer ability to turn on/off, lot of options for burst mode, video, etc.  The image quality is fine, but they are CRAP for response time, or even responding at all.  no way I would put one on a moving trail, only in a spot that animals stop naturally, or you have bait down to hold them..  I put the easy and P14 on on top of the other.  The primos was top and had less field of view under tree branches, but captured 6 pictures in my backyard where the P14 got zero.

I will also keep my eye out for the truth35's..
