Pops and I doubled on Bobbies!!
« on: February 07, 2009, 05:55:06 PM »
Fortunately our business has been busy with this economy. We have been working a lot lately and we decided we needed to take a day for some fun. Fortune continued as we were both able to take nice bobcats today. Mine is over 20lbs and my dads is around 13. We are both super stoked. I shot mine with my Tikka .223 and my dad took his with is Remmy 22-250. I am thinking of what style of full body mount I want to do mine in. He is gorgeous. I'm thinking of some wood and having him swatting at a quail. They look a little stiff in the pics, riggy set in quick and since we forgot our camera were not able to take pics until this afternoon.

That pose where it is sitting up by the rifle is a nice pose, hanging from the wall on a nice piece of drift wood. Just my  :twocents:

Thanks guys! No tricks, just some patience and help from a good friend from the site. They are very curious critters, a guy can call one in with just a squeaker some patience and a little luck doesn't hurt either. I can't wait to get him mounted. The wife even acted a little excited :o

C'mon, we need a hunting story to go with some great pics of some awesome cats!
